In Tigray, Ethiopia, conflict has destroyed health facilities, stopped vital immunizations and increased the rate of life-threatening malnutrition among children. Thousands of families have fled to the country of Sudan to escape ongoing violence and many more essential resources are needed to keep up with the sudden influx of refugees in crisis.

Children experiencing severe harm in Tigray region. Approximately 2,000,000 displaced people, including children, are in urgent need of essential aid supplies. Combined with the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, children and families are at great risk. According to UNICEF, 1.3 million children are out of school due to prolonged disruption of schooling. The children we’re working to reach cannot wait much longer. They need urgent supplies, including food, water, shelter kits, hygiene materials and other critical supplies.
